Anonymous asked: Hi, I jut wanted to say how beautiful your pencil work is, absolutely stunning! I am an aspiring illustrator and I was just wondering what brand of pencil you use , and how long it usually takes for you to create on of your pieces? Once again, absolutely beautiful amazing work!
Hello, thank you for your kind words. The pencils I’m currently using are Faber-Castell, usually B-6B and also a Faber-Castell mechanical pencil which I love!! But I use anything I have lying around usually… If I don’t procrastinate (which is a rarity… LOL) it would take maybe 2 hours to create a piece depending on how detailed it is. xx
l0ve-is-a-laserquest-x asked: Hi! I'm currently doing an art presentation on your works for art and wondered if I could ask what inspired you to draw Lana del rey? It it my favourite piece of yours and have recreated it for my coursework and would just like to annotate with your own feelings about the piece rather than just mine?:) thanks for your time if you do ever see this xx Becca
Hi Becca, thank you for your message, I’m so honored to be the subject of your art presentation! I wanted to recreate that image because I found it very striking, there wasn’t much to hide behind as all the emotion was right there in front of you, which I found to be quite beautiful. I hope that answered your question?… xx
Anonymous asked: do you draw from photos, a person in front of you, or from your imagination? xx
It’s a mixture of both, but I do usually have to start out with a reference picture to create the base of my illustration xx
Head and shoulders above the rest… @fillesapapa
BLK + LEATHER = 🙌 @asos @zara
Anonymous asked: your work is absolutely beautiful, i'm studying it for art at school, and i was wondering, who is your favourite photorealistic artist? In the future would you think of drawing anything in a new media?xx
Hello! Oh wow what an honour, thank you so much!! :)
My fave artists that give me a lot of inspiration to be better are, Kelly Smith, Ivan Hoo, Abbey Watkins and Ignasi Monreal to name a few. Amazing artists, you should definitely look them up (insure you’ll have seen their work already)
I would love to start maybe experimenting more, I’m a bit of a chicken when it comes to that tho :/
But I know ill branch out eventually, into what I’ve not quite decided yet tho…
Thanks again so much for your message!
